CredChain Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

CredChain provides blockchain-based lending and risk assessment tools using smart contracts, Chainlink oracles (Functions, VRF, CCIP), and AI-powered insights. These services operate across multiple chains and rely on decentralized infrastructure.

3. User Requirements & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must comply with all applicable laws.
• Services are not available in restricted territories (e.g., sanctioned countries).
• Using VPNs to bypass restrictions is prohibited.

4. Prohibited Use

• Do not use automated tools in violation of protocol rules.
• No fraud, abuse, or money laundering.
• You are responsible for your private key and wallet security.

5. Blockchain, Smart Contracts & Chainlink Integrations

• Smart contracts are immutable and deployed publicly.
• Transactions using Chainlink may incur LINK or token fees.
• CredChain is not liable for:
  • Failed transactions due to incorrect parameters or gas fees.
  • Losses from wallet hacks.
  • Vulnerabilities in third-party oracles/networks.
• Users must maintain sufficient token balances and accept gas fees.

6. Subscription & Chainlink Functions

• To use Chainlink Functions, your wallet must accept Chainlink’s terms and manage a funded subscription.
• You authorize CredChain to manage the subscription and spend LINK on your behalf.

7. CCIP Cross-Chain Messaging

• Using CCIP may deduct LINK or native tokens for gas and messaging.
• CredChain is not liable for failed or incorrect cross-chain transactions.

8. Risk Disclosures

• DeFi and blockchain are high-risk environments.
• On-chain actions are irreversible, and funds may be lost.
• CredChain does not guarantee returns or loss recovery.

9. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CredChain and its affiliates are not liable for:

• Financial losses
• Data breaches
• Delays or interruptions
• Network or protocol failures
• Oracle errors
• Fraud or hacks
• Government-imposed restrictions
• Punitive, indirect, or consequential damages

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be settled through binding arbitration. You waive rights to join or initiate class actions.

11. Changes & Termination

• We may change these Terms at any time with updates posted on our website.
• Continued use indicates acceptance of updated terms.
• We may suspend or terminate your access for violations—possibly without refund.

12. Amendments Notification

Major updates will be announced via email or in-app notices. Continued use after updates signifies agreement.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where CredChain is incorporated.
